There are some ways to connect Wi-Fi in Japan for tourists.
1. docomo
Wi-Fi for visitors from a mobile company, docomo.
Only 900yen for 1 week and 1,300yen for 3 weeks. Acceptable, I think.

2. Starbucks
Starbucks provide a free Wi-Fi service in more than 850 shops in Japan though^^
In Asakusa, there are two Starbucks; one is next to Tobu Asakusa Station and the other is at the intersection of Kaminarimon Street and Orange Street.

In Asakusa there is also a free Wi-Fi spot at Asakusa Culture Tourist Information Center. There are some computers on the 2nd floor which you can use without payment.
