Myoonji Temple
There is a quiet and elegant temple in Matsugaya, just one minute from Kappabashi Tool Street. Myoonji was originally built in Bakurocho in 1611 and replaced to this place after a big fire of Meireki in 1657. During the period of Edo (1603-1868), a big fire is frequently occurred. The fire of Meireki was one of the largest and destroyed almost half of Edo (Tokyo) city.
